2020 Free Agent Frenzy Roster Update Spreadsheet
Is there anything better than NFL Free Agency? While EA Sports has released their FINAL Roster Update for Madden NFL 20 for the season (see below), we are keeping up with the splash of NFL changes! We have posted a custom spreadsheet with the updated rosters as of March 31st, 2020 at 4:00pm EST!
Roster Notes:
- The players overall ratings come from the Madden NFL 20 Final Roster Update.
- Some players have switched positions to prevent some unbalanced rosters.
- The Free Agents list only shows players cut from the Final Roster Update. It is not a comprehensive list of all NFL free agents.
- Rookies will be added in an update after the 2020 NFL Draft!
- If you see any changes please email us at [email protected]
- As of March 31st, Jason Rock Phelps (@DataScientistFF) created a detailed chart of the current 2020 Madden starters for each NFL team.
NFL Legends Bleacher Report GOAT Sim Roster
This roster is *NOT* an official roster from EA Sports or us at Madden Ratings Weebly. We reached out to creator Derek Smith with permission, and created a spreadsheet of the teams in his All-Time NFL Legends roster he created for Bleacher Report's GOAT Sim Roster Tournament. #BRGOATSim

Roster Notes:
- To put together these rosters, Bleacher Report worked with Madden gamer Derek Smith (Roster Name: LEGENDS; User Name: BeastModeNinja0). Smith had the most downloaded legends roster in the game and he reworked his rosters specifically for the tournament.
- The rosters are now live on Xbox.
- There are no duplicate players. Each GOAT player is on one team only. (For example WR Randy Moss is on the All-Time Vikings team, not the All-Time Patriots.)
- Madden Superstar and Superstar X-Factor is on for current NFL players but off for retired NFL legends.
- Fan voting was used determined to determine key position battles such as QB Brett Favre over QB Aaron Rodgers for the All-Time Packers or QB Ben Roethlisberger over QB Terry Bradshaw for the All-Time Steelers.
Game Notes
- Release date: August 2nd, 2019 (Based on the 2019 NFL season.)
- Cover athlete: Patrick Mahomes QB Kansas City Chiefs (PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC)
- The game features 10 NCAA schools that can be played with and used for a created QB within the game. (Florida, Oregon, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, LSU, Southern California, Texas, Clemson, Miami, Florida State)
- In Spring 2019 game developers announced that the overall player ratings for Madden NFL 20 would be severely spread out including some starters having overall ratings in the upper 50s. This is the first time since Madden NFL 10 that the game featured a distinct drop off in player ratings to ensure the top players would stand out. The drop however, turned out to be less of a spread than the Madden NFL 10 player ratings were.
Player Notes
- 99 Overall Club: WR DeAndre Hopkins (Texans), RE Aaron Ronald (Rams), LOLB Khalil Mack (Bears), MLB Bobby Wagner (Seahawks)
